Your journey from mourning to JOY.
Are you grieving the loss of someone close to you?
What is GriefShare?
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you've lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you may have found that there are not many people who seem to understand the deep hurt that you feel. That's the reason for GriefShare, a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. This group is sponsored by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.
How does GriefShare work?
Each GriefShare session includes a video seminar featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects. These videos also include on-location settings and the real-life stories of people who have experienced losses like yours. After viewing the video, you'll participate in a small group discussion about what you've seen. You'll also have the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a recent loss, learn about their experiences, and have the opportunity to share your own. GriefShare is a non-denominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics.
Topics:
1. When your dreams fall apart 8. Your greatest resource
2. The seasons of grief 9. Stuck in grief or moving on?
3. Emotions of Grief (1) 10. Growing through Grief
4. Emotions of grief (2) 11. Grief recovery toolkit
5. When your spouse dies 12. God's spiritual hospital
6. Your family and grief 13. Longing for heaven
