Outreach Ministries

Outreach Ministries are a vital connection between our church and that of a needy world.   These Mission ministries reach out to those who:
   1)  Do not know Jesus Christ and His teachings;
   2) Have spiritual, physical and emotional needs;
   3)  Are hungry, sick, fearful, and lonely.

Kerrville First United Methodist Church Outreach Ministries are not an option to the church; these are foundational in spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ. These Outreach Ministries are a natural aspect of our Christian lifestyle and is incorporated into the life of our congregation.   It should always be remembered that Christ is first and foremost - Christianity, and Christianity is a way of life.

All scripture bears witness to the mission that Christ gave to us in the Great Commission, "To make disciples of all nations and peoples in the world" (Matthew 28:18-20).   Outreach Ministries achieve that commission in partnership with God's authority
 (John 17:18).

Through the Holy Spirit, Kerrville First United Methodist Church is to spread the revelation of
God in Christ throughout the local community,
our nation, and overseas.

The Kerrville First United Methodist Church Outreach Ministries is comprised of the listed ministries and their respective committee leaders.    Access for information about each ministry is achieved by clicking on that ministry area.
