Nursing Home Worship

KFUMC Nursing Home Worship is comprised of four different programs which are
conducted at six (6) care facilities within the Kerrville area.

1.   A monthly communion service is held at five (5) of the care facilities which consists
of grou humn singing, a pastoral meditation, and offering of the communion elements
to all who so desire to be served. The communion team
averages between four (4) to eight (8) persons.

2.  A monthly music program is conducted at five (5) care facilities that
consists of a blend of seasonal, upbeat, and uplifting generational secular music. Gospel music is also included with related appropriate spiritual comments and emphasis. This team is comprised of three (3)
   persons with one playing the piano, one on trumpet, and a vocalist.

3.  The KFUMC Senior Adult Ministries (SAMS) 30-40 member musical chorus presents a once
 or twice a year performance at five (5) of  the care facilities with a blended program of
upbeat show tunes, plus patriotic and gospel music.

4.   Sunday Morning Chapel worship services are presented on two Sundays
a month at one care facility.  This two person team is comprised of lay persons:
a pianist and a song leader assists a devotional speaker.
