Life Together is a ministry of small home groups. It exists to provide individuals and families with a place to feel connected, in a comfortable and relaxed setting.
Life Together offers a safe environment in which to explore spiritual issues, to support and encourage one another, and to grow in relationship with God.
If you would like to be placed into or are thinking of starting a new group, please contact Judi Mayne (Minister of Adult Education) or Ray Altman (Associate Pastor).
“The mission of Life Together is to create, grow, and extend the Christian Community.”
We accomplish this through genuine hospitality, covenant relationships, intentional discipleship, and Kingdom multiplication of our small groups.
Because Life Together groups are small, they encourage and enable us to grow in the following areas:
- WORSHIP: Being present to God, offering our praise, thanksgiving, and adoration
- BIBLE STUDY: Allowing God to teach us and transform us through His Word
- FELLOWSHIP: Experiencing the Spirit of Christ within and between one another
- ACTS OF SERVICE: As a result of our growth in Christ, we live out our faith by serving, as a group, the “least, last, and lost” in our world.
A Life Together group may gather around a common interest, age or stage of life, gender, neighborhood…or be a diverse gathering of folks.
Depending on your needs and interests, we can help you find an existing group, or we can make plans to start a new group that would suit you!
Life Together group members meet regularly, encouraging each other to follow Christ in all areas of life. Members may gather in the home of one designated member, or rotate gatherings among the homes of all members.
Life Together groups meet at least twice a month, usually for 1 to 2 hours. Included in most meeting times will be Bible Study, Worship, and Fellowship. The groups decide whether they want to serve light refreshments during meetings, have occasional meals together, or go on fun outings. From time to time each group will decide on a service project in which to participate.
