The mission of the Health Ministry is to provide service through leadership in the development and delivery of quality health services to enable the members of this congregation and of our community to realize their optimum health. Therefore we will encourage Biblical teachings wherein Jesus encompassed the concept that spiritual health and physical health are inseparably linked.
The Wesley Nurse Health Ministries™ program (WNHM) is a faith-based, holistic program committed to serving the least served through education, health promotion, and collaboration. Jennifer Correa-Knoulton is the Wesley Nurse housed on our campus. Her office is located in room 104B of the Education Building with the Mother’s Day Out and custodial offices. Jennifer offers services to those in our community including exercise classes, health screenings, outreach programs and health counseling.
Health screenings are held on the third Sunday of every month in the church library. Jennifer Correa-Knoulton will check your blood pressure and blood sugar, then sit down with you to discuss your results.
