Welcome to your nursery!

We believe your child is a special gift from God - both to you and to us! Our goal is to provide the best possible love and care for your child.
What ages do we care for?

Infants
From birth until they can walk, children will be cared for in the Infant Room. There are cribs available and this room stays quieter for infants who need to sleep! Please send any bottles ready to serve. Please be sure to leave special instructions on your child’s labels.

Toddlers
Children who are stable on their feet will be cared for in the Toddler Room. A snack of water and crackers or Cheerios is usually provided in this room. Please write any special instructions or allergies on your child’s label.

What to bring to the nursery
  • Bag with extra set of clothes (infants and toddlers)
  • Diapers or pull-ups, bottles, pacifier, blankets, or other items your child may need
  • Please do not bring personal toys or possessions unless it is a “security item” (pacifier, blanket, etc.)
Pager System

Parents are required to have a pager when their child is checked in the nursery. The pagers will work throughout the campus. Pagers will be given to you upon registering your child and returned when checking out your child.

Cradle Roll

Your child will be added to the Cradle Roll upon birth. This is a special program where you will receive age appropriate information from the Children’s Ministry director until age 3. A newborn New Testament Bible is part of the gift!

The nursery staff is here for you. Please feel free to approach them with any questions you may have

When is the nursery available?

  • We provide care during the 8:30, 9:45, and 11:00 AM worship services for children ages birth through age 3. During the 9:45 service, Sunday School classes are available for children ages 2 and older.
  • The Nursery is also available for other church functions during the week. Please contact the church office to reserve child care.
  • The Nursery is generally open 15 minutes before a service or function begins. Please pick up your children within 15 minutes after service is function is over.

When you arrive at the nursery:

  • You will be given a label when you check in your child. Please fill out all information requested on the label.
  • Place the label on your child’s back and retain the stub to present when picking up your child.
  • If you haven’t already done so, our workers will ask you to fill out an information sheet on your child.
  • Be sure all of your child’s belongings (bags, blankets, pacifiers) are labeled. Masking tape and a pen are provided.
  • For the safety of all our children, we request that you leave your child with a caregiver at the door rather than coming inside. Tell them good-bye, give a hug, then leave quickly.

When it's time to go

  • During hectic “pick-up” times, it would be easy for a child to slip out. Help us keep the door closed at all times for the safety of all our children.
  • Present your label stub at the nursery door and wait for a care giver to bring your child and bag.
  • Please do not send older brothers or sisters to pick up your nursery-aged child. Our staff is instructed to release nursery children only to their parents, or to another adult or teen designated by you ahead of time.

Health and Safety Policies

  • In order to insure the safety and health of other babies and workers, please refrain from bringing your child if he/she has any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours: diarrhea, vomiting, fever, rash or open sores, runny nose (anything but clear), symptoms of a communicable disease. (Please notify us if your child develops a communicable disease after being in our care so we can notify other parents of exposure.)
  • All toys and “chewies” used in the infant room are sanitized after each child’s use.
  • Our workers use disposable gloves for diaper changes and disinfect the changing table after each use.
  • Our workers will periodically attend First Aid and CPR classes.
  • Nursery bedding is changed after each use.
